Your health card is probably the most valuable document you own. It opens the door to vast health expenditures on your behalf when you need it. Other times, it tracks your journey through our system. Without it, you will usually have to pay the costs of your health care up front and then try to recover it later.
It will probably be the cornerstone of the electronic tracking when it becomes integrated. Of interest, is that we now receive notification when you use your health card outside of the MISSISSAUGA FHO.
